2026 update is available! A lot of stuff happened in 2025, and I'm excited for what 2026 will bring as well.
Importantly for you: if you were thinking about upgrading, maybe now's the time? Wandrer's price will be going from $30/year to $40/year at the beginning of May.

Explored some new trails up on to the #Ridgeway this arvo on the #Grizl. These bridleways are in my “back yard”, but it’s taken @wandrer.earth to motivate me to go ride them. 👍
It was bloody windy and made some road sections a bit sketchy. Decided to bail early for coffee and a shower!
#Cycling
this might be the newest new road ever documented on wandrer!
Carte statshunters
Pour ma part j'en suis à 25x25
Je couple en général à @wandrer.earth pour faire mes traces
fixed!
There's an issue going on with updating your Strava activity descriptions from Wandrer, and I'm trying to figure out what's up. Strava is investigating, and I'll update folks when I know more.
…and so, courtesy of @wandrer.earth it emerged into being
Some time ago buried in memory, I went for a ride. I flashes to my mind from time to time but I cd never recall where it was.
There was a route I have wanted to fill on @wandrer.earth for a time. Finally got round to it today. That was the route.
It is a good route upon which to paint a journey
This is fun! The biking app that gives you points for getting lost, exploring, and racking up unique kilometers also does fun weird metrics, like "How many kilometers have you ridden that were named after Alexander von Humbolt."
On my aborted attempt to escape to the West, I thought I’d explore some of the liminal in-between spaces you can find in an urban landscape
One of the things I like about @wandrer.earth is it helps me find so many spaces I didn’t know were there even though I’ve been here and curious for 3 decades
How many ways named after Alexander von Humboldt have wandrers completed? news.wandrer.earth/2026/01/30/h...
I appreciate the support!
Regular map updates are currently an upgraded-only thing (just because it takes a while to migrate folks), but if you're upgraded there's a Map Data section on your settings page (wandrer.earth/settings ). There's also a $5 one-time map update available for non-upgraded folks.
If you've been waiting for a map data update, new OpenStreetMap data as of March 2nd is now available to request
This really captures the simple joy of riding a bike
For those of you eyeing my crown, cool your boots, as I got Didcot on my bingo card too
Got me some of those good Didcot miles on @wandrer.earth
Update to the Wandrer browser extension to address RideWithGPS issues. Available here:

chromewebstore.google.com/detail/wandr... (chrome)
I haven't yet been able to reproduce the Strava issues but will be working on it as soon as I can.

Conquest of S Oxon on @wandrer.earth may be on pause…
Took the opportunity to explore the tucked away corners on my way back with @wandrer.earth.
Found this little stretch with a little used bridge (by the leaf mulch). Always feel sad for this clogged little river; that once it was considered a Holy Brook…

Photo of a man wearing spandex leggings, a cycling top, helmet, and carrying a backpack and gloves posing with a mountain bike. It appears the man may have been participating in a race or event, because there's a paper sign, unreadable from this angle, affixed to the bike handlebars.

A nurse who exhibited bravery and kindness. Murdered by U.S. government thugs.
nicely done!
A map of Tigard, Oregon shows streets highlighted in blue and red. The freeway is red and most everywhere else is blue.
So close to having biked all of Tigard! I'm at 82%. Now that the 217 freeway (red) widening is done, I can legally bike there! I enjoy using @wandrer.earth to explore streets that I have never been on.
Blue=biked
Red=need to bike.
