Other Good Stuff: Bathrooms: portable bathrooms available at the park. Accessibility: space by stage reserved for those in wheelchairs and/or mobility issues, and those who will need ASL interpreters (Interpreters will be assisting us during the speaking portion). Folks are welcome to remain at the park during the march. Get involved: Take the energy you gain from the protest and bring it to your neighbors: Partners of No Kings will be set up around the park with information on how to get involved in the work happening right here in our community
Our Commitment: Commitment to Non-Violence. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events. Signs and chants must not incite violence, and signs may not portray swastikas in any form. While there is always an inherent risk to protesting, safety is our priority and we are encouraging a family friendly event.
Read on to learn more about bathroom locations, accessibility, and our commitment!
