Huh ๐Ÿค”... this is really interesting. I drove myself nuts trying to get the same consistent results between IDE vs ktlint cli/gradle. Even with all the rules clearly set in the .editorconfig - and shared and configured in the IDE - it was still off... o_O
And indeed, the auto-fix issues persisting

It probably helped a lot that after 2 years, I was allowed to kind of make up my own cursive, sort of, without being penalized for it. For capital letters I found annoying, I just replaced them with the easier print letters, so I have a weird mix of print & cursive when I write by hand :D

print letters, but that has never been the case for me. I guess a whole lot of it is just digital now, but I never did get the same kind of release & mind quiet when I write by hand vs digital when I organize thoughts & feelings. Again, likely due to my own years of cursive lessons. However...

Likely due to my own schooling, but for me writing in cursive equates to the ability of writing by hand. Does everybody else just use print letters when making shopping lists, organizing thoughts, learning, planning, etc? I can imagine that with enough practice one can write fast enough even with
