If you look at recent cases, small fines, no major sanctions - Chelsea this week. No real impact on any competiton. And ongoing investigations like those involving Man City, you can see why big decisions take time or never get made. The consequences would be huge if outcomes go further.
It wouldn’t happen in FPL as such a thing completely undermines the integrity of the premier league competition.
The Afcon debacle is clearly very bad for African football in general.
