I hate that. And I often wonder where these ppl get their $. When my son & fam were trying to buy their 1st house they lost out on one at Auction to a local guy who was on to his ELEVENTH property! We *really* need a cap on investment properties. *They* are the scumbags, & the worst landlords.

Wouldn't it be great if council removed all the fucking parking meters and replaced them with car chargers. They could raise revenue by charging for the electricity instead. And that was just from my "bath tub think tank". Imagine what we could come up with of we talked to town fucking planners!

Time for the ALP backbench to put their electorates before subservience to the Cabinet. Failure to call out neoliberal economic policies, militarism and the plight of working the working class will see the loss of many seats at the next election.

English councils urged to install pavement gullies for home charging of electric cars Scheme aims to stop cables trailing across pavements and encourage drivers to switch to electric vehicles

Some cities are installing "pavement gullies" so you can charge your car outside your home from your own electricity supply. The gully means that cables don't create trip hazards.

My friend who worked in youth justice said a lot of support workers were leaving to join NDIS. Even though the provider is getting that rate, the workers were getting around $60ph which is still better than what they were getting. I believe. Providers need to be screened asap and thrown out for this

It's fkn shocking, no providers in Port Macquarie NSW want to touch anyone on level 2 care packages as there's not enough money for them. Don't want to do housework only showering and higher cost tasks, rang 7 of them to help out my 80yr old friend who I'm ft carer for but no dice - aged care same

I can't quite believe (a) how quickly so many people started outsourcing their decision-making and critical thinking to machines owned by psychopathic oligarchs, and (b) how quickly that made everyone really, really dumb.

And even less interest.
The failure of a large part of humanity to see that not everyone is just like them, and that is a perfectly normal and acceptable state of affairs, is at the base of most of the world's problems.
There is less and less empathy in the world.

#NDIS providers charge $300 ph for a young support worker
Think i might set myself up as a qualified support worker to "support" my #autistic child
Beats the hourly rate I currently receive as sole f/t carer responsible for their every need 24/7
May be able to buy a car

As the govt weighs options to raise revenue, balance the budget & confront the global energy crisis, one solution is staring them in the face: replace the broken PRRT with a fair tax on gas exports. It's long overdue, and has widespread support… www.abc.net.au/news/2026-04...
