Raye - This Music May Contain Hope - God Is In The TV It’s quite something to hear Raye’s follow-up to her transformational debut album, My 21st Century Blues. The three years since have been good to Raye, and

Reviewed Raye's new album for @godisinthetvzine.bsky.social

It's not for me but I admire and respect her ambition. And man, she's got some ambition. All power to her.

Project Hail Mary review – Ryan Gosling’s charm carries unserious last-ditch space mission Tale of a brilliant molecular biologist cast into outer space with only a helpful alien for company is a bit silly, but Gosling’s charisma keeps it watchable

This review reads like it's written by a five year old. I've no idea how Bradshaw still has a job.

Gosling isn't a "hunky" school teacher, jesus.

What a song this is.

If you're not into Carter Faith yet, sort yourself out. She should be the biggest thing going in country music. Witty lyrics, great voice, pedal steel, ballads, power pop country, Cherry Valley is one of the best in years.

Carter Faith - Sex, Drugs, & Country Music Listen to Sex, Drugs, & Country Music on TIDAL

"When I first heard pedal steel
I knew that god was real"

What a great line. And in a song called Sex, Drugs, & Country Music.

New records from Kacey and Lainey this year? Yes please. Possibly from Miranda too? That'd be too much.

Morgan Nagler: "It just felt like time to have an outlet for myself" | Interview After co-writing with Rilo Kiley, HAIM, and Phoebe Bridgers, Morgan Nagler has finally made her own shapeshifting indie rock record.

Looking for new music today? Look no further than Morgan Nagler's terrific debut. Grungy and indie and folky. It's a songwriters record.

If you want to know more about Morgan I chatted with her recently about her songwriting.

Avery Anna's new EP is great. Always felt she's got something really interesting about her and it's starting to really come through in her music now.

There's a variety and genuine quality to it.

Gonna have to say it...

I'm heading to C2C in London this weekend and I couldn't be less excited. The lineup is TERRIBLE.

I'm not even going on the Saturday, first day missed in over ten years.

Compounded by Meg McRee and Aaron Raitiere not being there now either.

That sucks.

See you there...

So I think Cam has just done the best show I've ever seen.

The songs. The voice. The band. The pacing. The setlist. Perfect.

This is such a good record, I think will be high on my year end list. It's the music as much as the lyrics for me, such a quirky yet accessible kinda vibe. Big fan!

It's such a cracking record. I've got a lotta lotta of time for it

We're a disgrace in the UK, Madi Dias couldn't sell enough tickets at modest venues on a headline tour. Only London is going ahead.

She's a super talent, written songs you'll know so well, and he own music is brilliantly understated.

It's SO hard isn't it, even now all these decades later!!

What could bring down extortionate ticket prices? Perhaps stars like Harry Styles taking a stand | Simon Price The knock-on effect on the rest of the industry is immense. There are many factors at play, but the ones with the power here are the big artists, says music journalist and author Simon Price

Great paragraph from Simon Price about the price of gig tickets.

I've had a bugbear about the gig going experience for a few years now. Nothing about it is nice. Nothing.

Yes the show can be good, but the venue is almost always shit, as Simon says you enjoy the show despite it

Colour me not shocked. I "interviewed" to write for Holler in their early days and they were a commercially ambitious outfit then. This is the logical conclusion to that. But, they do have some damn good coverage of outside the norm artists, so they could be a lot worse.

If you're looking for something to listen to today I've been getting into Sophia Zamani 's 2024 and 2025 records.

She's country leaning Americana, with some grit about her.
