I don’t use these metrics for my improvement, but it feels super awesome to be known as one of Falco’s Top 20 representatives in this meta.

Hearing more context internally, in my eyes, here is what I believe is the best course of action:
* The LumiRank sanctions any future events ran by the CIRQUE Du CFL team until their behavior gets back to a good standing
* Riot gets a national ban due to repeated poor behavior

It’s not just holding TOs accountable.

Sure, the bottom line is that it’s their tournament series, and the behavior is reflected in their event as a whole.

But commentators and spectators alike need to be given proper consequences for their individual behavior too.

I understand that this behavior was not on everyone involved with CIRQUE; I commend the people involved looking to make the event enjoyable in person & for viewers abroad.

But actions from the select involved fall on the series overall, and those actions have their consequences.

Just because an event has notable talent involved and is highly ranked does not excuse it from criticism or consequences.

We should prioritize action over complacency; issuing consequences to CIRQUE for harboring toxicity and unprofessionalism is a great start in that mission.

From letting questionable players into their tournaments, to Hurt being told to die by a spectator after losing to Dominator, to drunk commentators discussing inappropriate topics generally & at players, all the controversy is alarming.

Especially for a MAJOR, this needs to end.

While drunk commentary can be amusing to some, having it during a MAJOR (especially during top cut) is extremely unprofessional and is a bad look on your scene and the US as a whole.

Alongside poor treatment of overseas talent from spectators, the culture at CIRQUE is unhealthy.

For CIRQUE to increasingly be one of NA’s potent majors, questionable seeding, commentary, and behavior is outright embarrassing to see (especially in late stage Ultimate).

This is not new for CIRQUE, so when and where do we draw the line so they can get their act together?
