This part of a rustic fence made from split red cedar logs has collapsed. It is partially obscured by blackberry bushes that have been cleared from the surrounding area.

An old wooden barn now serves as the Old Farm Market. This black and white photograph shows the end wall decorated with farming tools and various pieces of horse harness. At the bottom are two cartoon-like characters of a mule and a cow.

The first 30+ frames from my Olympus AF-1 P&S all had major light leaks, a first for this camera. Strangely, the last few were fine. I have a hunch!

A grocery store with boxes of produce on display outside. Next door is a restaurant with a sign advertising dim sum, lunch & dinner, and live crab. The location is Chinatown in Victoria, British Columbia.

A live music venue called the Duncan Showroom has old pianos outside for passersby to play. In this black-and-white photograph, there is also a wooden ticket kiosk outside the entrance.

An old poster from a previous 39 Days of July music festival covers a doorway in the side of the Duncan Showroom music venue. There is ivy growing to the left and over the top of the poster. A plastic milk crate has been left on the ground in front of the doorway.

The Duncan Showroom is a slightly shabby and funky live music venue. Sometimes, people stop to play the old pianos outside.
