It took me months, about 495 rides, recovering from a shattered right foot and hacking a folding scooter, but I finally own a Nintendo Switch 2 using points obtained from Citi Bike. Afterwards, it left me questioning the very nature of work. For @aftermath.site.

WHEN THERE’S TREASURE BEHIND THE WATERFALL: Oh wow. Yes, very clever! Waterfall treasure! No one’s ever done that before. Lazy jackass
WHEN THERE’S NO TREASURE BEHIND THE WATERFALL: Wow. Too stuck-up to put treasure there huh? Too much of a fucking ICONOCLAST for that? Piece of shit. FUCK you
i love 2 hour playtime puzzle platformers
i would pay literally any amount of money for fixer's helmet
the applejacks apple standing in fromt of a wallpaper maze. he says "here's my room! isn't my custom wallpaper amazing? solve the maze on the wall to find the way out of my messy room! then we can make like an apple tree and leave!" the maze is unsolvable
this fucked up apple is trying to House of Leaves me

The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.
figuring out how to get back together. "friendslop" is a terrible term but it does fit this design pattern in which the goal of the game is to continue hanging out with your friends. i want to argue that covid is directly responsible for this sort of design but i'm not theory-pilled enough for that
the cool thing about a lot of co-op games is that they're not designed around being multiplayer rather than being designed around not being singleplayer. the main problem you encounter in peak is the threat of getting separated. lethal company-likes are all about splitting up with your friends and
thinking about how bbc sherlock had a network of homeless people who would spy for him wtf was that about
im so nick carraway pilled
It’s “I always kill my foe” Sunday. Are you killing your foe?

i love the physicality of ttrpgs. it's great that i can play dnd digitally but i also love when the game is an object. when we interact with the book not to just *facilitate* play but to *play with it*. like how yazeba's bnb fills up with stickers as you play (and like finding the secret character)
