Last night was absolutely lush!
I needed that!

M3G was incredible! That voice!
JB and The Mojo Makers were on fire and sounded HUGE!
And of course, Gaz Brookfield absolutely smashed it and in a guise I’d never seen him in!
Flanked by Sarah and Jim, it sounded really special. A treat.

Elated to tell you I’ll be back One For The Road in October!

I’m getting the party started on the Saturday!

Last year Samantics made a minor diary related snafu which saw him open the Saturday instead of headline. It went so well OFTR have asked me to do the same!

Haha! Have I been binned off the line-up in favour of you? Great decision 😂

Huge thank you to Lisa and Grant Hume for being absolute hero people for driving us to Cornwall and back and being great hangs!

Massive thank you to Nick Parker Music for saving the day and allowing me to use his beautiful Patrick James Eggle Guitar for these 2 shows! Even if playing his guitar terrifies me to my very soul!

Big thank you to Mexican Dave, who smashed it, for being ace & joining me on a trip to Cornwall

My voice didn't quite make the whole show in the way I feared, but it just means I'll have to go back and do it all again!

However, my voice did way better than my guitar, which decided to break before the start of Friday's 1st show of 2026! Woo!

I think I slightly underestimated how much it costs to put together, record & release an album! Especially given that my life has totally changed since the last album and the three of us are now a wonderful little family! Release an album? In this economy?
