Any political considerations notwithstanding, Telegram always had the best sticker game. I never found a sticker that expressed the whole “i feel you, sending you a hug” conundrum (as a virtual hug is, well, not really a hug) better as this sticker from one of the weirdest series of all times.

Sometimes I randomly think back at the amount of shit our little feminist group blog got from other feminist bloggers in the 2010s for not being feminist enough or in the wrong way, and then I want to shake my head until I get whiplash

When you feel imposter syndrome sneaking up on you, just remember that JD Vance lectured the Pope on theology.

Some old housemates of mine were Syrian Orthodox. At their church different members of the church took turns baking the bread that would be consecrated for the Eucharist.
This was all well and good until one woman baked raisin bread. This led to the memorable occasion of a rather flustered priest, who had not seen the bread until that moment, declaring, "This - except for the raisins - is the Body of Christ."

EXCEPT FOR THE RAISINS omg

Raisins are just dried grapes though, and wine is his blood so really its like a two in one shampoo & conditioner except with jesus

Algo friendly speak + working in a company selling food that tends to name things after food items 🍇 = constant uneasiness. Love it.

2035, the nuclear wasteland. Biker gangs fighting over the last drops of gasoline and fresh water. The only historical records that remain are AI slop Lego videos.

I don’t know how people with kids do it honestly. I’m am in awe.

With cats I at least don’t worry too much about them needing a shrink later on due to neglect or never visiting me in old age. They just pee on my furniture.

With @map.wtf away atm I absolutely can not satisfy my cats needs for pets and cuddles. Despite my best efforts they have no concept of me needing to make money to pay for our home. I can’t give 30 minute long head scritch sessions, I have to produce shareholder value!

No I do not want to awaken agentic AI or meet the new Cursor. Honestly opening your inbox beginning of every week to a new wave of AI marketing emails has a whiff of desperation.

A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)

More context on this #Artemis II image:

* This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right

* The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon:
