The answer is no! Philadelphians are suffering a man-made affordability crisis. Recent tax cuts to the BIRT have are only benefiting big businesses and corporate investors. Our people are being displaced, and being forced to make impossible decisions between what bills they can pay each month.
This past weekend our faith leaders stood united against Philly’s harmful BIRT tax cuts. As Jayson Massey shared, they’ll cost the city $2.8B and force residents to carry the load.
