I've definitely thought about it!

I’ve somehow ended up on a group email for a (bunch of strangers’) fly fishing trip and it’s the greatest. There’s talk of outfits and what I assume are types of flies? For the fishing? Who can say! Never been, but now I think I should give it a shot. Or…drop a line? Cast a fly? How does this work?

Today, writing = Googling "What do hippos smell like?" Added bonus: staring at photos of baby hippos for the last half hour.

Last week I was invited to speak at the same middle school I attended a million years ago and it was a blast!

I got to talk to 200+ 6th graders about writing and The Ghost Rules in the same cafeteria where I ate sticky buns with chocolate milk every day for lunch back in the 90s (sorry mom...).

School visits as an author are just the greatest. Today I got to hang out with 4 different groups of 6th graders who asked the best questions about writing and publishing (and, for some reason, the greatest horror movies of all time). Loved it!

Shriners are confusing. But I do respect their parade consistency.
