I hope people enjoy this "valid" alternative to reach the end of the game.

Had to make a trailer for Robot Vacuum Cleaner Quest.
Submitted my trailer.
Realised my trailer had match-cuts but no hook.
New new trailer includes the parrying minigame.
Hoping people realise the minigame is a shitpost about action mechanics in chill games.

Death Stranding 2 really is more Death Stranding.
More map, more awesome traversal, more awkward combat, more awkward stealth, more dodgy boss fights.
The story otherwise is no longer insta-skip, it's fine. Mechanics have been both streamlined and expanded. The game knows itself.
I give it a 👍
Fine art is intrisically a form of toy. All entertainment is.
It's toys all the way down.
I've ran two campaigns of A Rasp of Sand (one play by post): dastardlydave.itch.io/a-rasp-of-sand
Great world building, fun mechanics, crap dungeon generation (exit-appears-after-N-rooms requires no prep but is terrible design, no meaningful backtracking or loops).
When I want to complain about something on social media I instead add another weird little guy to my adventure game and get them to say it instead.
I call it the Frank Herbert method.

When running TTRPGs through play by post, I found players would neither read or scroll up. Even when text was our only form of interaction.
The solution is to repeat yourself.
This extends to all text, we think we read stuff but we often skip it. It's okay to say it again

Apparently the controls finishing mucking around at the end of the frame.
I'm currently using
await get_tree().process_frame
before I read the height of my textfields and it's proving reliable. Not sure it helps your case though.
Is the control a child of Container variant?
I've had so much trouble with them randomly freaking out between frames that I'm avoiding them for anything I need to read values from.
Void Eternal by flim is a broughlike where you run around the edge of an arena poking enemies with spells whilst they try to attack your weak spot inside.
Maybe I'm bad at it, maybe it's really unbalanced. Its novelty is still worth a go.

Amalgamate by sunil is an Alchemy-like roguelike. Reminds me a bit of Tripletown, though placement seems not a factor. It's really just figuring out which combos you can afford to make before the next mob turns up.
Shockingly simple fun.

#7DRL is on the move, 7DRLs are loose:
Ping Bat by gruebite is a mouse controlled ping-em-up where you're pinging to see prey, always scooting after the ghost of the thing you're trying to catch.
I've seen radar games before but not with the threat of faceplanting a tree

(。•́ ̫ •̀。)っ✿♡︎ hi, you know all those screenshots I've been posting for the past year?
I'm releasing the thing they're from!! right now!!!
It's asynchronously online!ヽ(๏ ∀๏ )ノ

...of Columbo rolling down a hill.
I couldn't find my game without using the weirdest genre tags all at the same time.
I'm not confident my next game will do better given that it's harder to categorize.
That "I'm doing my part!" bit from Starship Troopers.
I've had to up-end my life and move house this weekend so no #7DRL for me this year :'(
Good luck to all participating. Hope to try your games afterwards.
Thanks for letting me know. I've uploaded a new build, but since I cannot reproduce the issue I've no idea if it works :(
New game made by Diablo 1-2 veterans! Demo was an awesome proof of concept! Check it out on steam and go show the devs some love~

I appear to be invisible in Steam Next Fest's filters. Maybe it's not a roguelike after all.
My response is a launch discount:

That's right, you can now try Intergalactic Bastionland in a very early, messy state.

In Path of Exile 2 the enemies simply out run you. You're forced to melee out of necessity.
Effects that slow or immobilise the player achieve the same goal. Ambushes also count.
Although, if you don't allow kiting in small doses you're removing all the fun of being ranged.
