what did you have in mind

dammit i just realized that i should really implement the ANSI support in wineconsole itself, given it exists on windows, and just have this program do I/O forwarding, which means I have to figure out how to build wine.
[i can just call AllocConsole and it works, so I can at least get to drawing the rest of the owl, but having to do that sucks]
hey this prompted me to try to write a terminal emulator that can run linux programs in wineconsole, but i can't even get hello world to print - in your explorations have you figured out anything about how you're supposed to build winelib console subsystem programs or if it is even possible?
I think there's a valid argument that "it was due to a DDOS" implies an intentional attack - or at least a third party fuckup, and not their own fuckup [vibe coded or otherwise].
you don't know that her dress doesn't have a window he could have slithered through.
Doesn't 911 automatically send them your GPS coordinates when you call from a cell phone? Or does that not work with international phones?
as i understand it the design decisions that led to this were made all the way back in windows 95 - just back then it wasn't capable of actually *displaying* a 'loading' message [rather than simply freezing up for an indeterminate amount of time]
nah calvinism is when there's one predestined group of people ("organizers" - i mean, "the elect") who get into heaven and everyone else can go to hell, right?
vista was fine, the world just wasn't ready for it
it was Karl Dönitz that got leniency on sentencing in part because of testimony from Nimitz on the allies doing the same thing.
Screenshot of Ryuko from Kill La Kill Caption reads "You're coming with me. Sunsets. Sunsets? Yeah." 'Sunsets' should be 'Senketsu'.
i can't take screenshots of CR but here's one posted by someone i'm on a discord with, if you want for the screenshot collection
IIRC, crunchyroll's Kill La Kill dub captions don't seem to have any idea what a "Senketsu" is, among other things.
underrated funny aspect: a "jack & jill" bathroom is one that connects two bedrooms.
this room connects zero bedrooms.
like i'm aware of how bad this sounds, but my point "cop shot during traffic stop" cannot actually be wholly attributed to the traffic stop as a dangerous activity independent of being performed by a cop.
It occurs to me that if the people writing traffic tickets did not have any authority to investigate real crimes, drug runners would have less motivation to shoot them.
Sure, but if you have to tell the AI to make it bad, that's an indication that someone who has no reason to intentionally make it bad didn't use AI.
her writing skill is well below average, even for a right wing propagandist.
I skimmed through it at one point and they had some essay justifying it (though it did not justify why these people would be in a party together)
this was about rolling normal things like height, weight, race, and what race you're racist against though, not the sexual stuff it's known for
I thought all character generation in FATAL was randomized
ok unrelated though, where is the posts a lot labeler
i have to see the proposed community notes
I suspect they don't want to break people's redstone contraptions that rely on typically furnaces to stop piston movement.
would be nice if they made it a gamerule though, or just a tag for blocks that can't be moved.
If it were *just* about Joyce she would have had no reason to confront Daisy. This clearly does actually matter to her.
they should have made minecarts chunk load the same way they did with ender pearls.
maybe only when moving to avoid having mineshafts cause Problems.
in 2025 the federal police are the racists
the real hilarious thing is that if you look into the history, there was no bathroom at all in this space during the Lincoln era. The original half bathroom was removed in 1824, and the entire space was office space until the west wing was built in 1909.
If 'black president in media' is the marker (not saying it shouldn't be), an earlier and less problematic version is Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact (1998).
it says cruel *and* unusual. there's lots of precedent that cruel *or* unusual is fine, though mostly on the side of the former
what weapons was the fighter jet armed with?
