I always loved this story about her involvement in this- disappointed that the UofG staff were not teaching the women as equals, she told the university they would get no more funding from her unless they kept to the agreement to teach the women equally. They complied with her demand.

On a wood effect floor a pale wooden wheel stands on stabilising base. A brown carpet lines the interior to give the cats something to grip as they run in the wheel.

Building the things I had bought was my goal for New Year’s day this year. Didn’t quite get everything done but a managed a wine rack, 2 wee shelves for under the sink, deconstruction of one cat tree, replacing part of a second & built a third. The cat wheel took a bit longer & is not a hit… yet!
