I really hope these big corps stop shoving AI into every app soon so we can have legit conversations about where the tech is useful, and where it’s slop (which is most of what we see right now).

I’ve talked to several furries who use LLMs at work and are afraid to talk about it because of the backlash. I feel like there is a big rift silently growing between tech & art furries, and it sucks to be working in both spaces right now. Admittedly, I’m a little nervous just posting this comment.

The hard truth is that a LOT of us in tech are using LLMs for work. We kinda have to. Sometimes our bosses make us do it, but often times it’s legitimately useful. Either way, it looks like the tech is here to stay, and I’d rather try to understand than try to ignore it.

I was so busy at #Bewhiskered that I forgot to get pics taken... but I did get to hug this big fluffy red panda (Jace) who had an incredible tail!

I was at this con for 5 nights, suited 6 times (about 30 hrs total), and shared countless hugs. Can’t wait for next year! ❤️
