Seeing people misunderstand the current legal climate for transitioning as being so bad that they may as well not bother is legitimately such an indictment of the state of our information systems as trans people.

I waited more than two decades after I for sure knew I wanted to transition, because I was scared because I didn’t think it was the right time. I was afraid of society and family and now I’m just mad that I didn’t do it all those years ago because I could’ve had so much more life. 💗✨

It is fully possible for us to learn what we need to and mobilize without indulging the type of shoddy fear mongering on here. In fact, it our duty to cut it out from our communities.
