I've lost to this card in modern masters draft

My favorite part about MTGO Vintage Cube discourse is when people point out new cards that provide novel and fun gameplay patterns but then just say “yeah but it won’t be good enough compared to all these boring cards we’re required to play with.”

I'll never stop loving drawing cards though :P

Some further thoughts on the event: The drafts this week really made me re-reflect on how unfun it can be for both players to just repeat the same thing over and over again in a game. Most cubes did a good job of avoiding this, but it did come up a few times.

Additionally, congratulations to my amazing brother on placing second out of 191 people at the event.

Redownloaded Bluesky for this post. Got back from the @bostoncubeparty.com yesterday, where I had a ton of fun drafting a bunch of different cubes. The highlights of this weekend were definitely the judging staff, who were all amazing the whole weekend, and @andy.luckypaper.co signing my card.
