M3GAN, too, of course!

This illustrated visual compendium takes you behind the scenes of the films that have reshaped the horror genre, from THE EXORCIST to the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and HALLOWEEN franchises.
The vintage paper fasteners are scanned from an early 1953 estimating script of Judy Garland’s version of A STAR IS BORN that I have in my collection, the “bloody” endpapers are from a vintage horror book, and that’s my scrawled handwriting on the spine!
The hand print on the cover and finger prints throughout are meant to be like you’re the murderer using this book as a guide for your next kill, so I placed the prints as if you were actually flipping through.
To unify all of the properties into one deluxe book, I was inspired to design it as a sort of bound film script / director’s notebook that’s very worn and passed around to reference all of the collaboration involved in filmmaking while also being a sort of guidebook with secrets inside.
Spooky season has officially begun! 👻 🎃 As a huge fan of horror films, I was especially thrilled to be hired by @simonelement.bsky.social to design “HORROR’S NEW WAVE: 15 Years of BLUMHOUSE” by @blumhouse.com with @daveschilling.bsky.social and an introduction from CEO and founder Jason Blum.
Right!? This show is bonkers. I would do anything for Ms. Joan.
Love this! Thanks so much! ☺️
Film and art fans rejoice, I made this very specific starter pack: go.bsky.app/NvGPdbg
The original typography is a bonkers puzzle (complimentary) and, as you can see in my references, it’s typically blown out or filled-in so I’m thrilled to get a new version out there that could be the size of a billboard.
I had hoped to do this for the ESSENTIAL FELLINI box set I designed in 2020 but there just wasn’t enough time!
I was so happy to be asked by art director Eric Skillman at Criterion Collection to redraw the original title typography in vector to be used in a new poster to promote the tour.
Don’t miss seeing Federico Fellini’s timeless opus 8½ in a brand new 35mm print struck from the original camera negative in Italy—completely photochemical and all analogue—at Film Forum in NYC Friday, April 25–Thursday, May 8 courtesy of Janus Films!
Something fun I’ve been designing for Blumhouse / Simon & Schuster that hits shelves in September! 👀

Fun Fact! ✨ 50 Oscar statuette prop replicas were created w/ special permission from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for Judy Garland’s “A Star is Born” in 1954. They were not permitted to be stored in the prop shop and were immediately destroyed after filming the iconic awards scene.
The color in this restoration is so wonderful to see and I love the audio commentary. Elizabeth is such a lovely person. 🤗 ALSO, the documentary “You Don’t Nomi” is fascinating!
Fantastic choice. Thrilled to see you were in the Criterion Closet!
I loved Babylon! 🤩
I’m so jealous! 😭
PERFECTION! 🤩
I’m so happy you're here! I saw you taking photos in the streets of Paris last year and always wish I had said hello. Your work is incredible.
It’s so beautiful! 👏
I designed my Judy Garland poster over 8 years ago and I am often asked if it would be available to own again and I’m so pleased to share that I’m now offering a premium matte version of the poster with a wider outside border design to allow for easy framing! www.raphaelgeroni.com/store/the-fi...
Can’t wait, so excited! 👏
The original type designed by Milton Glaser (that I recreated) was necessary and I’m relieved I didn’t have to create something new from scratch which I’m sure would have been disastrous for the fans of the film! 😂
My brief for the cover was to capture the dynamic of the characters and while it wasn’t particularly well-received online, I thought it worked nicely with all of the constraints considered.
David, thank you so very much for your kind inclusion of my work in this list. ☺️ I can’t tell you how much it means to have one’s hard work received (and seen) well. This one involved an especially great deal of time and it’s easy to overlook because it isn’t splashy in the obvious ways.
Or was it her?! 😂
Who do you think it is!? Ariana Grande’s mom would never.
Not one person bothered?! 😂 It’s the jingly text tone. I scream every time I hear it.
