When I say they are being tortured, I mean that the camps and prisons they are held in are Nazi torture camps. 10,000 people including 500 children being held in conditions that are often this bad. A child prisoner starved to death not long ago. His body was weak and infested with scabies.
Demand action to release the 10,000 Palestinians held hostage mostly without charge (literally none el having had or awaiting a fair trial) including 500 children. 75% of Palestinians taken from Gaza are not classified even by Israel as combatants. They are simply hostages. They are being tortured.
If you do not want or are not able to give to fundraisers in Gaza: fine. But do what you can. Contact your representatives and make sure that they know you care about this issue and it will affect support for them in the future. Demand action. Keep talking about the genocide which is still ongoing.

When the violent truck looting was confirmed to mostly be conducted by the Israeli-armed and funded drug smuggling mafia of former ISIS-linked crime boss Yasser Abu Shabab, we just stopped talking about truck looting as a high-level problem.
But the whole time we had to maintain a fiction that it was Egyptian organized crime and/or Hamas, neither of which made any sense, and that it was Hamas attacking the trucks when they entered Gaza and ripping them apart to get at the cigarette cases secreted within. Which also made no sense.
For most of the time I worked on the Gaza humanitarian response at USAID, this smuggling ring was the bane of our existence. It dramatically impacted price and market stability in Gaza and made the truck drivers jobs far more dangerous. We all knew it was the IDF running it.
