I believe, Wolves!
Jamal hucking his legs out on his jump shot to bait a foul is entering the chat.
Small plug for the new heat pump water heaters that only need a regular outlet (vs 240). Somewhat recent development but that's what we're using in our rebuild, FWIW.
Jamal Murray is obviously really good at basketball but good lord are his vibes so annoying. Devin Booker levels of annoying.
“Let’s stop turning Black trauma into ‘safety stories.’ Let’s fund the advocates who keep us safe and pass the laws that guarantee safe staffing levels in our hospitals. Our lives depend on it.” –Minnesota State Senator Clare Oumou Verbeten

Turns out that one way to fix some of the retail vacancy problem turns out to be… lowering the rent. www.axios.com/local/twin-c...
I’m holding the Senate floor tonight in protest of legislation that would allow a copper-nickel sulfide mine on the doorstep of the Boundary Waters.
Not this mine. Not this place.
The other shoe drops.

Oh my god I am so so sorry
i was so happy to talk to laura yuen for this piece, because it lays out the major difference between the uprising in 2020 and OMS—people have changed how they are in relationship to each other.

It should be surprising to absolutely no one that (many) men who think they should rule the country also want to manipulate and control women & expect there will be little to no accountability for it.
Both major papers have op-eds up today that, while different in tone, convey some of the same ideas. There's more to push back against in both than I have time for, but I just have to say that I think having local leaders with the vision to see—and make—a better world is a strength, not a weakness.
"No one should expect busy parents to shuttle families around on bikes or Metro Transit in the dead of winter."
As cities, we actually can expect people to make decisions that improve our collective and future well-being—and it's our job to make policies to incentivize that type of decision-making.
Dealers still have some here and there. If I were even a little crazier and slightly more flush with cash (and not in the middle of a whole home reno etc) I honestly would splurge.
I know a guy in MN who got one and is doing sorta DIY camper van type stuff with it.
Got that is such a sick EV van (Brightdrop). Sucks they discontinued. Easily the best EV van on the market. Get nuts and buy one of these while they still have the Brightdrop version: www.groundedevs.com/camper?gad_s...
