This is a glimpse of how our documentary, 'Fixing Chornobyl' was made.
In a time of global volatility, MDBs are working more closely than ever to support economies, strengthen resilience and invest where it matters most.
- Together w/ fellow #MDBs, we agreed on the importance of working together to help build diversified, resilient & responsible value chains for critical minerals.
- W/CEB and EIB, we agreed to streamline procurement in jointly financed public-sector projects outside the EU, improving efficiency.
- Strong support for Ukraine,
- MDB Heads reaffirmed their commitment to deepen collaboration and deliver impact at scale, with a strong focus on the private sector, job creation, infrastructure, and long-term sustainable growth.
The EBRD delegation is on its way home from the International Monetary Fund/The World Bank Group spring meetings after a few days in a swelteringly hot Washington DC.
Key highlights (below):
And our Greg Guyett told the Innovation Days event at Ukraine House that, when recovery begins, it can build an even more innovative economy than that now defending itself from Russia’s aggression.
One of Ukraine’s proven strengths is its excellence at innovating.
At this year’s #springmeetings in Washington our Odile Renaud-Basso told the Ukraine ministerial roundtable organised by the World Bank that EBRD will itself continue to innovate and scale up its support for the country.
Together with @coebank.bsky.social & @ebrd.bsky.social, we’re streamlining how we deliver joint projects outside the EU.
This means MDBs working better as a system, so we can invest more efficiently in projects that improve lives.
