You get a belly rub!
And a hug, too!

We all have bad days, but I wonder if artists realize that we sometimes sit and think about their OCs when we're stressed out. That's what makes us feel better. That's what a comfort character feels like.
I am in absolute awe of the detail and design. This is a masterpiece.
Thinking back, all I was hearing was that you were enforcing one fact while I was saying that it's not that simple. You backed up your statement, and I backed up mine. You continued to assert your claim without considering the nuances of mine.
It's no wonder this conversation was confusing.
I never said the fandom was at fault for posting spoilers, just clarifying what they do. I was actually considering changing up my routine, but I also recognize that everyone else's circumstances are different.
Someone could be needing YouTube to study for a test. That is considered self-control.
"If you unexpectedly see a spoiler that is out of your control, it's your fault."
The risk is not about somebody's routine.
Do you think the entirety of the fandom go to YouTube or Bluesky only for TADC content? I use YouTube to listen to music, and I continue to see TADC content in my feed. I use Bluesky to see what my fellow artists are up to, and I may see a spoiler or two.
Regardless, the risks are still there.
"Just don't read the countless posts and videos posted both on YouTube and Bluesky gushing about the show. It's not that hard."
You say that as if the fandom isn't theorycrafting for the past two and a half years, and that the algorithm isn't catered to those who are actual fans of the show.
Metal Gear Solid is a franchise. TADC is only one story. The nuances are not the same.
So does the entirety of the TADC fandom.
I disagree. Regardless of the age, spoilers ruin the firsthand experience. If we tolerated them, then how can we enjoy the movie to the fullest?
Remember that this is not just an episode. This is the finale of a series many have been following and waiting for two and a half years. It's big.
If you look at a test answer, you already know what is coming. If you look at a plot twist of a movie, you already know what is coming.
Knowing the answer to tests before taking it defeats the purpose of working toward it. Seeing a spoiler defeats the purpose of anticipating what's in the movie.
It's more about looking at the test answers and knowing what is correct.
That's wishful thinking, unfortunately.
Either way, the risk is pointed out.
In my original post, I was not talking about those who aren't fans. I was referring to those who are.
Unless you download extensions, you do not have a lot of curation settings on YouTube. For someone who is a TADC fan, the algorithm tends to be in their favor. It takes one thumbnail.
Yes, I am aware. I was clarifying the gravity of the situation. With how easy it is to access information today, it is no surprise that there are concerns.
I have no interest in Dawn Trail. I never heard of it until today, so I never encountered a spoiler during my time on YouTube.
TADC's community is massive. It is difficult to escape from its content, and those who aren't fans have attested to this from the start.
The fandom is well-known for spoiling an episode the moment it is released. That is what most of the vitriol is about. The fans will definitely be talking about the finale that many people will be unable to watch in that time span, and they have been keeping up with the series for 2.5 years.
It's not that they are refusing--it's because many literally CAN'T watch it in theaters. This fandom is notorious for dissecting each episode the moment they upload. For two weeks, we have to dodge spoilers of a series many of us have been following for two and a half years. Trust me, it's not hate.

Your drawings are a treasure.
I just saw your OC and, my gosh, she's cute! I love the design!
I love your style and design!
A child-sized Ayumu, hugging her pigtails and stepping her feet with glee. Background is a bright gray with bubbles. Cross Numeribal logo is white, at the upper right.
Ayumu by Aircraft.
This may be one of the most fun drawings I ever made.
It was never about autism. Addie attacked him, and his mom stepped in to protect her son. Nina has already clarified this distancing situation to her, and she understood. It sounds like you still have a heart for Bubs' recovery, but do you think insulting his mother's parenting is going to help?
It looks cute on her!
It's less about fighting inside the fandom and more about people coming to Gooseworx's defense. I hope Glitch knows that there are people who are looking out for each other, especially for the creators.
It isn't. The notion that you should provide that sort of love to the person of your interests is a choice. As for me, I chose to repurpose it into something that I could give to my friends. In that way, I know I won't be lonely without anyone else to goof around and have fun with.
