That's a scary thought. Where I live, we just got a new place that does servicing. Before that it was a 2 hour drive. I took my vintage Singer 401A in immediately and next in line is my 20 year old Pfaff.

This is for the Yaquina Art Association exhibit in February.

I finished this blue yarn/rope basket with a denim tab and jeans button. I really like the irregular textured look I'm getting by combining the chunky yarn with the rope. Fun fun! This one is about 6 inches in diameter and 3 5 inches high.

Wow these colors are just so gorgeous 😍

Happy accident! This was an experiment/prototype basket and it wasn't what I was trying to make but I absolutely LOVE how it came out! It's super soft with yarn woven randomly in and out of the clothesline rope I sew baskets with. I added a little leather tab and matching rivet.

Question:

I have a custom order for a basket, and she wants colors that aren't appealing to me, but she was specific. Beige, baby pink, dark brown, and avocado green. Emphasis on the beige with hints of the other colors. Do you think these look good together?

I've finally completed my art exhibit entries and changed my mind on one. I decided my weirdly shaped, strangely colored basket would be a better entry than the octopus which I didnt really like. And I created a giant spoon to go with the giant coffee cup.
