Why are people acting like this is the old @washingtonpost.com? You need to treat it like you do Fox News or the @nypost.com. Obvious partisan crap.

It's amazing too how they say this so casually as if they think all those unemployed people will just starve quietly in the streets. The rich are not gonna like life at 20% unemployment.

Coachella is trying to wipe all of the footage of The Strokes protest set so I’m gonna post it here. The last images on the screen made me cry.

Ossoff: "How does American politics really work? It's coin operated. Money goes in, favors come out. It's been running on secret money, corporate money, billionaire money ... all of this gave rise to a depraved president who exploits this rot to empower and enrich himself"

The American gestapo abducted an 85 year-old widow.

Was she one of the worst of the worst? No, her step-son, a retired Alabama state trooper, got ICE to put her in a detention center to deport her because he wanted all of his father's inheritance.

Sounds like the son is the worst of the worst.

This is why I can't stand the NIMBY/YIMBY labels. It's so fucking decisive and people end up shouting over each other and never coming to a real solution. Meanwhile the rich keep buying up properties while eating their popcorn.

Last I checked, we have an FAA for aviation, nuclear energy is regulated, and electricity is regulated.

I suspect the Pope sounds "woke" to many Christian conservatives because the US is steeped in prosperity theology, where the point of worship is to deliver health and wealth to believers. Thus, "feed the hungry" and "show mercy for the poor" sounds needlessly political and "woke."
