The stakes are very straightforward:
If democratic socialists win, ordinary people win greater rights, protections, public infrastructure, and social services.
At the same time, corporations and their lobbyists lose influence and have less control over politics.
They are very scared right now.

I'm actually shocked that our local Fox affiliate ran this story in which students place the blame for the strike/disruption squarely (and correctly) on PCC administration 💙💙
Students back the PCC Strike:
"Without them, we wouldn’t be able to have an education. We wouldn’t be able to have a career. So, even though we have that feeling of uncertainty, we just need to keep pushing through, stand with them and fully support them in whatever they need.” ✊🪧

shame on portland community college!!!!
over 1000(!) people showed up big last night for the #PCCSTRIKE march & our speakers brought people to tears, instilled hope & grounded us all in solidarity
so proud of the Portland Comm College union members fighting for what they deserve. thanks @portlanddsa.bsky.social for organizing this shiz🌹
day two: crushed it! 5 hours of pouring cold rain has nothing on us, especially when DSA resiliency has our backs with these branded burn barrels 🌹✊🏻
come hang with me at Southeast campus tomorrow 9-12!
In this article, you will find NOLC labor leader Laurie Wimmer:
- conspiring to undermine the city charter with a Stoel Rives lawyer,
- lobbying to keep progressive councilors out of city leadership,
- failing to report her lobbying after Q1 2025,
- calling DSA the “MAGA of the left”,
[more 👇]
“The termination of a lead union organizer during the fragile, initial phase of a union drive is an exceptionally severe act. […] This action, taken by the City's highest elected and appointed officials, constitutes ‘egregious’ conduct[.]”
Thank you!! ✊🏻

It’s runoff season in Jersey City! It’s been a historic year for socialists in municipal elections across the country, but we’re not done yet. Hear from @cmalexaaviles.bsky.social @jakeephros.bsky.social and @dsaelectoral.bsky.social on how we can help cap off 2025 with 2 more wins! 🌹

Save the date! Join us for POWER UP! A summer socialist fundraiser party to send our delegates to the DSA national convention. We just hit 80k members nationwide- and we're going to use our numbers to build power!
The politics of Bread and Roses gave me the clarity and confidence I needed in my politics in a moment of turmoil for this org. I am so ready to crush this campaign and work to build a stronger member led movement for DSA🫶🏻
I’m running to DSA’s NPC with four absolutely incredible humans 🍞🌹
