Well they did stop. NO NOT THAT WAY.

The sheer luck of Hutson hitting the post unfortunately might mask out Cooper's huge error in putting Sabourin on the ice late in the game. Being down 2-0 in the series against Habs minus Anderson and heading to Mtl is still a disaster. (TBL have lost *a lot* of home games in recent playoffs).
No panic. These Habs are better at clutch scoring (and coming from behind, if it comes to that) than they are at protecting leads.
He is probably still feeling the nutting Dobes gave him with his blocker
Maybe less invasive to swap Newhook and Dach for a couple of shifts to see how that goes?
Ok, I think I understand what you mean (although the Boltz sure know he's not the only goal scorer on that line: Slafkovsky has HURT them) but I see that as a potential symptom of a upper body injury, lacking strength or stability in retaining possession under pressure, which he's usually v good at.
Isn't that just standard backchecking? What are you seeing them do to Caufield they aren't doing to all his teammates? Maybe I'm missing something?
the year of the horse right 😉🐎 #GoHabsGo
Also more generally it's a bit hard to imagine Cooper sticking one of his skaters on Caufield at the expense of giving Suzuki greater freedom. He is a big Suzuki respecter.
But he's not. Especially obvious on this last shift.
Also, look how much more fun things are when each of the teams play its respective game, rather than them trying to out-tough-guy each other.
Is Caufield playing hurt? He has no shots on net. Sure, he has an assist, but is relatively quiet.
Imagine that in October 2025!
That seems like a really poor trade-off for the Boltz, but I guess we'll see over the next few shifts. Slaf's second ever NHL fight, not too bad.
I don't see the halo you seem to observer around Math. He's an obviously willing dance partner.
His play makes those opportunities, like Lehkonen. He's just not great at converting them into goals (well, like Lehkonen, although more so). At least he's actually shooting sometimes, and reasonably credibly, because earlier the book on him would be he'd alllllways look to pass to a better shooter.
Weirdly the NHL app is showing it as a penalty for abuse of officials. (I kinda expected it to be recorded as a slashing minor; but it was very much a spear).
He speared Sabourin as the latter was exiting the ice. Kinda sneaky, and not very hard, but unfortunately quite obvious in the replay.

Speaking of which, cameras please find Gallagher. He must be jumping up and down and up and down wanting to be down there.
(He'll also be very proud of his buddies, Anderson especially)
Ha, thanks to that observation, during the TVAS intermission I found his appearance and enjoyed the "Yeah, it can" immensely. I was two seconds too late to skip back away from Elliotte saying something dumb that he thought was witty, though. SportsBET, blah.
I was the closest height-wise !
What was it Cooper said the other day about how they shouldn't be taking so many penalties? HAHAHAHAHAHA
Raddysh can get five from one of Anderson, Struble, or Xhekaj. Pow, right in the sandwich-hole.
Chief Brody from the movie Jaws says: "you're gonna need a bigger boat", having sight of the giant great white shark.
It's also a WWEification: flashy throws and so on. I suspect it's deliberate.
The league on multiple penalties this tends to produce: gonna need a bigger box.
This is going to be a very very very silly game.
Gourde has some sort of facial-rearrangement wish. He should stay away from manosphere videos.
Not sure the Boltz have figured out that this lineup is not likely to be intimidated, and can dish it right back out to them.
Oh well, at least the antics distract the Lightning from Just Playing Hockey, a game at which they excel.
OMG Guhle and Hutson are super hungry for offence, and moving well together when they have to hustle back on defence. They're gonna be fun to watch this game!
By making a guess I'm fairly certain I'm gonna curse him, but Caufield has a biiiiiig first goal waiting in his mitts.
