My original dream for CoG was a video game. I sat on it for years, waiting to see if Id ever have the motivation/skill/resources/etc.

But I realized Id rather tell my story now using what I have, than to wait on a maybe someday.

Dont be a perfectionist and DONT wait. Tell your story in a way youre capable of telling it right now.

-No motivation for a long story? Tell a short vignette instead.
-No "skills" in the medium you wanted? Tell it in a simpler medium instead. (Cant animate? Draw. Cant draw? Write. Etc.)

...You see, whenever I set out to write something simple like a prompt or short story, I habitually get bogged down, including unnecessary details and redundancy that I think detracts from the overall work. Its very frustrating!
