The Home Secretary told a "white liberal" complaining about her far-right immigration policies to "fuck right off", & to add insult to injury, accused them of being racist.
What do they put in the water at the Home Office?

"Palantir is not just a problem of profiteering from our national healthcare system— it's a fundamental threat to the democratic control of our public infrastructure + the privacy of every citizen. By giving our taxes to this company, we are aiding their operations everywhere."

"The company's ethos is entirely unsuited to working on UK government projects".
How much more evidence does Starmer need before acting to remove Palantir from their dangerous stranglehold on government contracts?

Though to be fair (& no disrespect to Biden), that's a pretty low bar.
Brexiters are raging over the latest efforts to ‘reset’ Brexit. Plans for UK to align with EU rules are drowned out by cries of ‘betrayal’ from the right & demands for more ambition from left
With Starmer being criticised from all over, isn’t it time to risk a bolder plan?

Spoiler Alert: It's not a 'bombshell' or 'shocking' - it's the 45th Treasury report on payments to the EU as a result of Johnson's Brexit deal - to cover things like Farage's pension.
Not sure why the Express chose to quote right wing 'free speecher' Frank Furedi of Orban's MCC Brussels think tank.
Looks like he's burning the British flag to me.
How patriotic!
Rejoining the EU itself is more popular than the single market alone.
That's huge!

Apparently, children as young as 4 will be subjected to EU "mind control" when UK rejoins Erasmus.
The Tories have really lost the plot this time.
That I would like to see. I don't want him to die while in office. I want him to live long enough to pay for his sins/crimes! (And not in the sort of luxury that Maxwell enjoys).
I'm not sure the country would believe the same old lies again, but I'm sure there will be plenty of new ones to tempt them with! Let's hope those fooled once & regretting it know to ignore those same liars, if not the same lies, next time around.
I don't blame tge people who were "brainwashed" by promises to improve their lives.
I blame those that sold the country a pack of lies to further their own ends. They need to pay for the damage they caused & to be kept away from any chances of power.
“I was brainwashed by Nigel Farage.”
We asked people in East Wiltshire, the constituency of Danny Kruger, if Brexit was a mistake. Here's what they said. ⬇️

Since Keir Starmer is being assailed from all sides on his plans for EU alignment, might he not just as well risk an even bolder move? | Sue Wilson

What a waste of all those years, but a welcome return.
Erasmus was on offer as part of the Brexit deal, but Bojo turned it down saying it was "extremely expensive".

Support for rejoining the EU rather than simply rejoining the single market is growing among British voters, with more than 80% of Labour, Liberal Democrat and Green party supporters favouring this option, according to research mapping voter attitudes 10 years after the Brexit referendum.
I don't believe it's that clear cut. The EU is evolving & not every country has adopted the euro.
But I agree, the country/parliament need to know what rejoining involves (pros & cons), & ideally should get a vote on whatever has been negotiated (as we/they should have done last time around).
Thanks. I suspect you're not alone in that fear, sadly.
If that weren't a concern, would you reconsider?
Calling all EU citizens.
Genuine question..... would you/your country support the UK rejoining the EU?
Please state your country in comments.
@bremaininspain.com
I voted Labour for decades, back when they were a party supporting socialist ideals, mostly. I don't recognise them now.
As for their red lines re Brexit, they make no sense & do not reflect where we are or what the public wants or needs.
Your democratic choice of course, but would you mind telling us why?
