Pretty exciting news to share today. I don't always share with whom I'm partnering, but this time, it's special.

I'm partnering with Greyd.Suite to consult them on strategic and technical topics.

In the end I managed to get it halfway done in chunks but for the last two parts, it just would always remove the code so I went and did it manually. I was only asking for correct indentation and nothing else.

I was working on a longer pattern that I wanted to have better readable.

"Error calling tool 'edit_file'." I was able to reproduce it a second time and I assume there was just too much data in the file, so Cursor was unable to handle it properly. I had a lot of issues and it was again a rather frustrating experience.

I asked Cursor to help me add correct indentation to a file and while generating it, it ended up throwing an error. While it worked on other files yesterday, it's not working today.

Anyone know any good resources how to use Cursor?

Apparently travel selfies seem to be a thing for #CFHack2025 and #CloudFest, so here‘s mine and of course not while driving because we don‘t do that 😀

I haven't been using Twitter too much anyway, and a recent tweet got way more negative comments on Twitter than over here.

I'm still using both for some folks who have not yet moved over, and some conversations only happen there but yeah, I'm not so interested in this algorithmic shit over there.

I was wondering why Twitter didn't work all day and no one else seemed to complain about it online, so I was curious... Turning off that one browser extension that made it halfway usable made it work again, so it looks like it's blocking viewing the content when the extension is active.

This week's learning: Safari is the new Internet Explorer.

Added what I thought is an accessibility improvement? Safari just doesn't display those items anymore.

Trying to use a z-index? Well good luck if the rendering stack is turning out what you want it to be... or not.

Why Greyd is Sponsoring WordPress Core Contributors Open-source needs more than goodwill. That's why we’re sponsoring WordPress leaders Tammie Lister & Jessica Lyschik—to invest in its future.

Almost as good as the fact that @jessicalyschik.com and @karmatosed.art are being sponsored to work on WordPress is the explanation of why they are sponsored:

“If you rely on an open-source platform, you have a responsibility to support the people who make it better.”

If they:
-know everything about you
-are always offering you things you’ve mentioned liking in the past
-want to know where you are
That’s not your significant other. That’s internet cookies.
