Not very fond of the idea. Maybe if it's like Death's domain in Discworld, a place that exists in another dimension but they can pop in and out of as they wish.

Thanks for letting me know. Now I'm more curious about the Metatron's line and why Crowley recognised his human form.

Thanks, I didn't know. Even in Job's era, no angel had their wings out in the office. We only see their wings in space, on Earth, and the place where Aziraphale, Crowley, and Adam went for a chat.

Therefore, it can't be angel Crowley in the Metatron's office. Crowley fell before the Metatron became an angel. The office scene could have occurred at any time and there can be multiple explanations for the shadow outline.

What do you think?

3. The Metatron's line "I've ingested things in my time" and the fact that Crowley recognised his human form make me think he used to be human (he was Enoch in some texts) and Crowley met him during that time.

2. The shadow: we never see angels with their wings out in the office building. Why would this change in this scene? It could be a winged being, but it could also be more than one persons, or one person carrying something (the Book of Life?).

1. The Metatron's clothes: it looks like he's wearing a cassock with a toga draped over it - a mix of modern and ancient clothes. Him saying that his suit calls much less attention makes me believe that this is what he wears at present (and maybe always has).

We've seen speculation that the intruder in the Metatron's office is angel Crowley and this scene is a prelude to his fall. The reasoning being that the Metatron is dressed in robes and the shadow outline looks like a winged being. I'd like to offer a different view: 🧵

Good Omens season 3 will have a "perfect ending" for Crowley, says David Tennant David Tennant won’t tell us how Crowley’s story ends in Good Omens, but he promises that it will be “perfect.”

And David Tennant has said that the story would have a perfect ending for Crowley.

I saw it too, it was everywhere this morning :(

I'm not worried about the ending, but I didn't want any more hints to the plot - I'm happy with what we have and would just like to wait and see at this point.

For anyone worrying, let's not forget this is a comedy.

The Metatron's line "I've ingested things in my time" makes me think that he used to be human and Crowley met him at that time. That's why he recongnised his human form.

Maybe that's not angel Crowley. If they go by the lore that the Metatron was originally a human (the prophet Enoch), that scene would have occurred after Crowley fell.

What if it's demon Crowley? The hair looks long. Or it could be Lucifer coming up to complain about the food.

I'm thinking the same. He isn't sneaking into Heaven this time.

His posture and way of talking indicate he's part of the team, or at least openly working with Aziraphale.

He's probably pretending to be Aziraphale's second in command.

Two stacked boxes from the upcoming Good Omens store. The box at the top is red with a gold inscription reading "O. Crowley night". The box at the bottom is black with a gold inscription reading "Aziraphale! Aziraphale! Where the Heaven are you? You idiot. Aziraphale! For Go- For Sa- For somebody's sake. Where are you?"

I thought it was a Christmas tree because of the upcoming merchandise 😁

The elliptical bokeh artifacts there could be baubles.

I think Crowley's reaction to Nina was the realisation that humans see them as a couple. The kiss looked like a first one to me, especially with how clumsy and overwhelmed they were and Azi's reaction after. Crowley's desperate last attempt to show Azi by doing what he's seen humans do in films.

I think they were sharing personal space and touches long before that. We don't get to see as much in S1 because of the pacing - we don't see them in a private space as much.

The S2 relaxed pacing allows for more domestic and intimate moments.

Let's also not forget that fleeting moment on the bus

That said, I'm not sure what's happening here. Was Aziraphale already on Earth? Was it a matter of urgency? Were the official exits being monitored? Was the lift out of order? We'll have to wait and see.

I don't think they *have to* use the lift, escalator, stairs, etc, it's just the official and proper way to enter and exit the building. They don't care about that in exceptional circumstances, like when the archangels confronting Aziraphale about his "consorting" hear the trumpet calling to war.

I think the Land of Uz entrance was theatrics. When on Earth they can teleport to whatever earthly location, for instance Aziraphale just appears in the Bentley in 1967. I assume he was someplace else on Earth during Job's time, felt the demonic presence and appeared, adding the glow for show.

On the one hand, I want this to take place early on, I can't wait for them to make up and affirm what they (and we) have always known.

On the other, I might not survive it and miss the rest of the story.

What a dilemma.

It seems Crowley sauntered to the lift just in time 😏
