It is my favorite close stop to take the kayak out. I am out there more than anywhere!

The beavers have been beavering over the winter at Pocahontas State Park.
When the project requires developing three new hobbies at the same time 👩🍳💋
Nasa using wake up songs has really made my whole week. I have really looked forward to seeing what our astronauts are listening to.
Life is feeling very Zone of Interest today as I get ready for the opening of a new baseball stadium while things like “a whole civilization will end tonight” are being thrown around by the dementia patient in power.
I am just one in a sea of billions, but these four astronauts on Orion are heroes to me. They gave back the awe and wonder I remember feeling as a child seeing astronauts strapped to rockets & flung into space, seeing people give their lives for science and the advancement of humanity selflessly.
My dad imparted on me his love of space. He regaled me many times with the stories of watching the Apollo astronauts. He took me to every single shuttle launch that went off in the 90s in Florida. They are core memories for me.
I asked her, please if you’re going to acknowledge it to do so on the day I celebrate. It’s just a part of who I am at 30+.
She insists on messaging me on the 17th each year.
Not sure if I want to ignore hers this year, respect begets respect. Or if I want to be a little petty and wait a day.
It’s my biological mother’s birthday today. That’s right, I double checked when I found her to make sure it was not a joke.
She called into question my date of birth couple years back. My documents say 11/16/1990. She insists it’s 11/17/1990. Her sister says it’s 11/14/1989.
Hello gout, my new friend.
My body is rejecting me, who do I talk about for a refund and replacement?
Worked a young couples wedding yesterday. Very young. Military family, the groom is enlisted.
I have a feeling this is the first in many military weddings I will be called for with only a couple weeks of planning.
My soul hurts.
In one week I will officially be the parent of a teenager. I take it that now is a perfectly acceptable time for a midlife crisis?
I feel it in my soul. I’m about to do some weird shit.
The more embarrassing for my soon to be teen the better.
I should have named him Glue.
Jacq can you pull off a surprise saturday event in the middle of a friday and sunday event? Most likely. Cats raised me. Nothing is impossible.
Still out here repairing my dead dads … well everything. Everything the man touched that wasn’t HVAC needs fixing.
Anyway repaired the timbers, the rocks had to go somewhere (dead grandma liked rocks), I had an erosion problem anyway. New cedar address sign w/metal custom cut address. Dirt & mulch
Its been almost a decade but sometimes my morning coffee leaves the taste of a Marlboro behind. It’s probably just my brain doing stupid shit but man some mornings I miss a cigarette with my coffee.
At some point I went home and stayed there and now I don’t want to ever leave.
Austin has another ceremony to perform today. I am so excited for him. This dude absolutely loves love. It’s one of his more endearing traits.
I love my human very much but I think maybe I love him just a pinch more on wedding days.
To the dump to the dump to the dump dump dump… no not that one.
Its a boat kind of day and i have like, other stuff I have to do that isn’t boat.
Catching up on the weekend news is always fun. Brit arrested. Shia arrested. Terrorist attack in NYC. War in the middle east. Gas creeping on $4 a gallon. What fucking year is this?
What’s next, he wears a tan suit?
With Austin out the way and the last two photos hung 🥰
This has been the longest part of the whole fucking remodel.
Yes every wall in my house is like this.
Stay far away from whatever stomach thing is going around the schools. It is not a good time to have three family members and two toilets.
“We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.”

Hugo found a new seat.
Fucking AHHHHHHHHHH
Screaming on the internet before it boils over to porch screaming and scaring the neighbors.
Nifty thrift find in petersburg today. Little piece of home found me.
Oh man, I saw someone do a limewash style wall using two oranges… like the shade I want my living room eventually… austin is going to fucking hate me.
Took a nap and had the worst nightmare. Opened a $2000.00 power bill.
Dominion’s rate hike is giving us all trauma.
