Every time I hear this administration speak I think of Idiocracy.

Whenever Pete Hegseth goes off on the media I can't help but think of this scene.

Running errands shouldn't take me down for the day the way it does, but it do.

I'm talking basic "Stop by on the way home" kinda errands for most people after daily 8hr shifts.

Chronic pain is exhausting y'all.

I just honestly wish more people had this presence of mind.

One of the reasons it makes me feel so unsafe is how many people around here drive like THEY are too medicated and shouldn't be driving.

Lotsa older folks not accepting their reality around here and we ALL pay for it.

As much as I hate admitting it, I had to cancel all my errands yesterday because the level of meds I had to take to manage pain was so bad I didn't feel safe behind the wheel.

As much as I wanted(and needed) to get stuff done, I am not going to knowingly risk myself and my neighbors for it.

It really sucks to see how awful I am on those days. My pride really doesn't like acknowledging how far gone my skills go.

But I find it personally and morally important to be honest about those limitations.

It can be rewarding to acknowledge your reality.

Even the negatives.

Can't hit a broad side of a barn on those bad pain days where I take more of my meds than is ever normal.

I have noticed however Lions Mane mushrooms are pivotal to repairing the damage my medicatipns do.

Also playing GZW during good times really helps keep those bad times at bay.

I absolutely love Gray Zone Warfare, but it does a great job highlighting how debilitating my pain meds can be to my mental capacity.

I've always kinda known, but I've never tried anything that involved on one of those bad days.

Tried last night knowing full well I shouldn't and it showed.

Gray Zone Warfare is by far one of the most rewarding shooters I have ever played.

Not only does my countless hours of watching tactical youtube feel like it's actually doing something for me, but looting is actually super satisfying.

Re-watching Futurama and my brain pointed out Zap Brannigan is basically Pete Hegseth and now I can't unthink it.

I wonder if we can get someone to convince Pete Hegseth to go as Zap for Halloween.

With lions mane I can take on my favorite tactical games like Battlefield and Grey Zone Warfare.

I cannot overstate how big of a difference it has made.

That being said, I would like to propose we introduce lions mane to public drinking water. Literally everything in America. We NEED it. Now.

Lion's mane is the only reason I am not a mouthbreathing smooth brain from my pain meds side effects.

Without it I watch my hands drop things in defiance of what I tell them to do. I forget basic words, lose capacity to build proper sentences, and believe the oxford comma is a psyop.

Dirt therapy is the best kind of therapy.

To get them to not give me an alarm notification for it. There is literally no way to turn your birthday notification off by itself.
