I think forcing yourself to wait for something is healthy. It teaches you humility and it lets you appreciate the thing a LOT more.

I havent been able to go to movie theaters because theyre expensive and Id need a ride there, and yeah that does suck- I miss that experience a lot

But it isn't covid anymore. I no longer have that expectation of getting what I want instantly.

I think people are so used to things being instantaneous these days that the idea of having to wait more than a day is something they struggle to cope with.

My friends compared it to South Park, but even South Park usually has more to say with its comedy. Most of the jokes in SM1 were just "haha black people" or "haha gay" with no real meat to it.

Im just saying it isnt as balanced as you might think it is, but ive only seen 1 in the franchise

I saw SM1 for the first time with some friends and my problem with it personally is that the offensive humor is...boring. The first movie had a painfully bad transmisogyny joke and the rest was just nothing burgers

The funniest bits were people getting hurt

When I say I love the art of non-artists, they look at me like "you mean you think it's FUNNY." and I'm not denying that a lot of it IS funny but I genuinely love to see the decisions that people make who are not part of the art world, who don't have all our hang-ups. It leads to unique choices!!

Twitch is requiring new Affiliates, before their first payment, to give government photo ID and a separate photo to Persona, the same Persona that has connections to government mass surveillance programs.
