Great discussion! As a trainee I find it really helpful when journals make clear what constitutes as reportable AI. For example, from Brain Topography:
It still doesn’t feel real, and I am sad to leave Philly, but this position is everything I’ve dreamed of. Special thanks to my mentor, Mike, for continuing to believe in me and our work, and all of my family and friends for their support along the way ❤️
Grateful and excited to share some big news for the new year ahead 🎉 - I’ve accepted a faculty position at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the Department of Pediatrics! First-gen college student ➡️ Assistant Professor starting August 2026
I think so! Unless there’s a fancier way that I’m unaware of 🙃
One ID links all three projects so when we export data spreadsheets we merge by ID. You can have multiple visits within each participant and specify which data collection instruments you want for each visit. This may not be the best system organizationally, but it has worked well for us!
(3) Child: This is where we store data collected from children: questionnaires, documentation of tasks and imaging, etc.
(2) Parent: This is where we store parent data like parent-report questionnaires, interviews done with parents, etc.
(1) Screening: This is what we use when we screen participants over the phone and where we "register" them for the study. It's the only project that includes PHI. This is also where consents are stored.
We have three separate REDCap projects for each study. One called "screening", one called "parent," and one called "child."
Sad to miss #flux2025 & #fitng2025 this year due to clinical internship, but I’ll be living vicariously through posts here! If anyone doing EEG work with babies is looking for a post-doc starting Summer 2026, feel free to check out my website - armenbagdasarov.com - to learn more about me + DM me :)
So happy to have published the fourth & final paper of my dissertation - check it out! Infant EEG microstate dynamics relate to fine-grained patterns of infant attention during naturalistic play with caregivers www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/...
Thrilled to announce that I will be doing my clinical internship in psychology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia! It’s a dream to come back home for the final stage of my PhD 🥳
