The Geekie center ice dump-in goal is objectively hilarious, even if I wasn't a Bruins fan.

Foxborough #MonsterJam lineup is a good one! Robbins Bros. stadium debut! www.monsterjam.com/en-us/events...
Came across images from a 1991 Tonka catalog online today. They don't make Stomper-like battery-driven truck toys anymore, especially awesome hot rod monster tanks with names like "Attila the Hunter" and "Motor City Meltdown", or a half-track IndyCar. Toy designers were on another plane back then.
$755 to keep my 300hp AWD Fusion Sport on the road is way better than dropping $40k on a milquetoast Camry or Mazda 3
This is actually how I feel about #IndyCar right now
1. Oh great, this discourse again.
2. Gotta grab kids earlier in the ladder system to try to direct them over if you want it to happen. The Road to Indy is strong and has better chances to eventually get a paid drive.

If you read 5 books over the summer, you could get a ticket to a Boston Public Library day at Fenway Park, including a hot dog, soda, and hat, to watch the Red Sox be completely average against the Twins or some such.
Still jarring when I go to Facebook and the algorithm throws up my high school crush in the "People You May Know" part of the feed. Wasn't all that long ago it wouldn't bring up unwanted memories without permission.
Oh, it's not the hydrogen-ICE that's the issue - that would be cool (anything to keep ICE in racing). Its that NASCAR would potentially replace the O'Reilly Series cars, which are now the top-level traditional stock cars with solid rear axles, with these: www.youtube.com/shorts/Tzq1w...
Oh I'm sure the #NASCAR fanbase will take this well.

Wife insists we pay cash. Been saving for a while but am just too frugal to want to jump right now.
When one hand doesn't talk to the other
No IndyCar or IMSA next weekend, which is fine because baby gets baptized on Sunday.
If Kirkwood can be good at Indy and keep Palou honest then we still have something brewing. The back half of the year is full of short ovals and if you can keep close there is ground to be made up.
I'm more worried for IndyCar's viewing numbers than I really am about the actual entertainment of the race. Auto racing is the one sport where dominance can destroy momentum - see Johnson in NASCAR or Loeb in WRC
True. IndyCar doesn't have torque sensors etc.
Can't wait for Zvi Mowshowitz's 20,000 word Substack post about the OpenAI car winning the race
Dear Alex Palou,
You're a good dude. What you've done is very impressive. We acknowledge you're superiority.
Now, please retire.
Thanks,
#IndyCar Fans
To be fair, an IndyCar cart has to hold those guys for 3 hours, max. IMSA, it's basically a hotel room for 24 hours.
Every other team needs to start offering big contracts to Palou's pit crew. Can't beat 'em, steal 'em.
Once again, a mistake by a pit crew hands a race to Palou.
Foster falling off quickly it appears
The Dish
Someone needs to start offering Palou some slightly-off fish the night before races
It's Palouver
5 more laps would make a big difference.
Hockey interlude: I'm reluctant to invest time into a Bruins team that I really don't believe will make it past the first round but I also don't know why anyone would have any faith in the Sabres as an organization, so hope springs eternal.
