Can't wait for the day when Georgia's free, and I can have a life again: take a walk and read, travel for leisure, learn a language, grow a plant, paint, plan future and just not be in the survival mode 24/7.
Most of us are like this now.

What is happening in Georgia – free speech is persecuted, citizens and journalists are beaten, and the EU path is traded for alignment with Russia & China – is an attempt to establish a pro-Russian dictatorship and permanently sever the country from Europe, fulfilling the Kremlin's long-held dream.

I took a photo of this elderly couple near the Parliament. They’re probably over 75. Late at night, in the freezing cold, they stood hand in hand with the Georgian flag, protesting against the tyrannical regime—together, caring for each other, and thinking about the future of the youth.

Mzia Amaglobeli, a veteran journalist and member of the International Press Institute (IPI), has set the highest standards in Georgian journalism. Her newsroom Batumelebi has been an indispensable part of the Georgian media landscape.

We call for Mzia's immediate release.
