Personification of the ENIAC computer. She is represented as a medium-skintone doll or automaton-like woman with red eyes, black rolled hair, a veiled black hat, black gown with white trim, laying on a checkerboard tile floor. She lifts the veil revealing her face. Wires run from her arms, forming into branch-like structures behind her, "leafed" with vacuum tubes glowing soft pink. This represents ENIAC's place as the root in the "family tree" of computers. Radiating around her are artillery firing table papers, playing cards and 90mm shells, representing ENIAC's role in artillery calculations for the M1 cannon, and its role in the development of the Monte Carlo method.
