the individual and collective bravery displayed in the spontaneous, decentralized, and non-violent resistance to oppression, particularly in minneapolis/st. paul, is a beautiful reminder that love is more powerful than hate.
despite weeks of sustained chaos and brutality from these government forces, the response by minnesotans has been incredibly inspiring. regular people are standing up to protect their neighbors, documenting unconstitutional acts, and providing for those in need.
...regardless of criminal background. lives have been lost, families ripped apart, and innocent people jailed; meanwhile the administration lies about events we’ve all seen with our own eyes, and refuses to hold anyone accountable.
for more than a month minnesota has been subjected to a surge of federal agents supposedly on a mission to remove violent undocumented immigrant criminals from our streets. In reality these masked interlopers are arbitrarily terrorizing citizens and non-citizens alike, mostly people of color...
