Yesterday I was feeling great about community. Today a neighbor cussed me. I told her kids not to come in my fenced yard. I would throw their stuff back when I got to it. They joked about throwing balls on purpose, I said I would keep those.

Today we learned what to do if a white supremacist group puts up posters in your neighborhood. My friend spotted a sign near her parents' house. She got a ladder, picked me up, and we pulled it down.
