West of England is a 7.7% hybrid English Ale from #turkeyshootbrewingco number 3 in our #12beersofchristmas
Day #5 of the #12BeersOfChristmas
Sweet and malty, with lots of spice notes (ginger, cinnnamon…) Almost like drinking a spice cake. Very enjoyable.

Day number four of the #12BeersOfChristmas
Not my favorite #ChristmasBeer, but far from bad - and a very easy drinker.

Day #3 of the #12BeersOfChristmas
Not “technically” a Holiday brew, but Imperial stouts (especially barrel-aged ones) and the Holiday Season seem to go together like mistletoe and holly.

#ThirdDayOfChristmas
On the second day of Christmas, the beer man gave to me…a delicious winter warmer from a local brewery!

Bonus #ChristmasBeer for this first day of the #12BeersOfChristmas…
This was The Old Man’s favorite #Christmas beer. Wouldn’t be Christmas without it…and a lot of warm memories of him.
#MerryChristmas
My choice to accompany Christmas dinner…a perennial favorite.

Racking up the beers in my #12BeersOfChristmas with my fifth beer.
The Pfeffernüse Stout from Anspach and Hobday.
It is big time bretty with the Christmas spices bouncing around in the background which I wasn't expecting but it's a big proper Christmas warmer.
I love it!
Beer 5 of my #12BeersOfChristmas and I’ve nailed the pairing with the main course once more. Sharp yet smooth and so easy to drink, a world class beer 🍺🎄🍻🎉
Number four of my #12BeersOfChristmas is this wholesome helles from Flötzinger which is quenching my thirst after the Christmas gammon in the most perfect way.
Cheating a bit tonight. The next of my #12beersofchristmas is a Black Forest Stout. Which I made myself. Won't win any awards but reckon it's pretty good for a homebrew. Weighing in at just over 6% abv. Loads of dark cherry flavour & only been bottle-conditioning for a few weeks. A real morale boost
Following up the hoppy golden ale with something black. Jet Black, in fact. From Whitby Brewery.
Been storing this in the garage so going to let it sit and warm a little and allow that liquorice flavour to do its thing. Creamy mouthfeel.

Pint glass of golden ale with impressive white fluffy head and 'Powerfully Hopped' printed on glass. Alongside, the dark brown beer bottle with label artwork showing old felin (Welsh for mill) complete with water-wheel against a golden sunrise (or sunset).
Seems I've been drinking mostly dark beers of late. So, to clear my palate & kick off #12beersofchristmas, a hoppy golden ale straight outta Betws-y-coed.
Nice and gentle, light but with plenty of flavour, especially as it warms.
Lovely local beer. Next one will be dark.

Fresh St Bernardus Christmas & Lupulus Hibernatus #12beersofchristmas both spot on.
