#20faveliverecordings. No. 20. A spot of Stravinsky to start the morning, but only as the opener for Yes: Yessongs: 1973. My four foot gatefold vinyl has long since gone, so it's the CD for me today and a whole day of Yes live to follow. That's the end of my 20, hope you enjoyed them
One more album to go for #20faveliverecordings. I wonder which 1973 triple album I will choose.....
#20faveliverecordings. No. 19. Wishbone Ash : Live Dates : 1973. My CD copy of this came as two separate single CDs, I bought it second hand, I guess there must have been some sort of slip case in its history. No worries, it's a great album. I might go and see Andy's WA later this month
#20faveliverecordings. No. 18. The Who: Live At Leeds: 1970. The original album was a mere 37 minutes, but they were 37 epic minutes. Today I've got the deluxe edition to explore for a good couple of hours
#20faveliverecordings. No. 17. Van Der Graaf Generator: Vital: 1978. Their first live album, recorded in the dying throes of the band and released after they broke up. Nevertheless it's a brooding, dark and angry live set. I was thrilled when they reformed years later and I finally got to see them

Supertramp - Paris
Nice recording, good production, great set.
#20faveliverecordings. No. 16. Thin Lizzy: Live And Dangerous: 1978. As teenage boys we loved this band and this is one of those 70s double live classics. Arguments about overdubs aside, it's still a fantastic listen.
#20faveliverecordings. No. 15. Rush: Exit... Stage Left. 1981. My old CD version doesn't have 'A Passage To Bangkok', I think it was put back in for later reissues. This, for me, is the band at their peak.
#20faveliverecordings. 14. Marillion: The Thieving Magpie: 1988. Swansong of the Fish years. One of only three out of the 20 I've chosen that wasn't released in the 1970s. That says something about me but I'm not sure what it is. Answers on a postcard or sealed envelope please
