A ★★★½ review of Latitude Zero (1969) I absolutely fucking adore this movie. This is a total ripoff of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea coupled with the sci-fi sensibility of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (as well as some Dr. Moreau action) adding in the notion of an underwater civilization.  While the script is goofy as hell (“bath of immunity”???), and the story is far-fetched, this movie has a couple of great things going for it.
