Day 10: A song that makes you sad
This one derailed me for 2 months.
This song makes me sad because it reminds me of my best friend from high school, who is no longer a friend. I love this song, and it's really hard to listen to now, and that makes me sad.

Day 9: A song that makes you happy
I started out as a Music major, but Theory was my downfall - so I don't entirely understand why the chord progression in the chorus of this song gives me a dopamine rush...
But it does.

Day 8: A song you like with a food in the title
I only know of this band because they were in an episode of Buffy.

Day 6: A song that makes you want to dance
I can't dance... but play me something with a bodhrán & fiddle, and I turn into River Tam in that one episode of Firefly.

Day 5: A song that needs to be played LOUD
Anything by Disturbed.
This one was my favorite,
back in the day.

Day 4: A song that reminds you of someone
Nearly every song reminds me of someone. But this is a pretty uncomplicated one. My old roommate Geoffrey - the Will to my Grace - was almost as much into music as me, and he also loved this song. We learned the lyrics together.

#30DaysOfSongs, day 19: A song that makes you think about life
This was one of Queen's most deeply personal songs, recorded when Freddie Mercury was dying. And it definitely makes me think about life and death.
Face it with a grin. Never give in. youtu.be/t99KH0TR-J4
#30DaysOfSongs, day 18: A song from the year you were born.
Of the many songs from the year I was born, this is one of them. Nah, but seriously, I love this song so much. youtu.be/h0ffIJ7ZO4U
#30DaysOfSongs, day 17: A song you'd sing with someone on karaoke.
My brother used to hold karaoke parties, and we were both big Tenacious D fans, so he was looking for this song for ages. He finally found it, and it did not disappoint. It's a really fun duet.
Oh, and #IStandWithKyle.
#30DaysOfSongs, day 16: A song that's a classic favorite.
Honestly, most of the songs I've been posting have been classic favorites, so I guess I'll have to go even further back for this one. youtu.be/L7UMubmfbH0
Day 30: A song that reminds you of yourself
Flamy Grant - "Take a Chance On Me"
"I'm a really good listener until you realize everything you're saying makes me roll my eyes."

#30DaysOfSongs, day 15: A song you love that's a cover by another artist.
I absolutely adore how The Protomen took what was a kinda nothing 80s pop song and turned it into a deeply soulful piece. Seriously, this is gorgeous and everyone should hear it. youtu.be/5UkbPLnt-JY
Day 29: A song you remember from childhood
Three Dog Night - "Joy to the World"
Top tier oldies song from the 50's, 60's and 70's station that was always on in the car.

#30DaysOfSongs, day 14: A song you'd love to be played at your wedding.
We did play this one at our wedding (it was for our entrance to the reception), and I would definitely do it again. Freddie Mercury had a voice of pure gold, and the sentiment is just perfect.
#30DaysOfSongs, day 13: A song you like from the 70s.
Here's one of my favorites, and one with a great message.
Day 28: A song by an artist whose voice you love
You fucking knew it'd be Orville.
Orville Peck - Dead of Night

#30DaysOfSongs, day 12: A song from your preteen years.
Living Colour is a really underrated band, in my opinion. People tend to think of them as a one hit wonder, but they have a really amazing catalog that sounds like nothing else of their time.
But that one hit is really, really good.
Day 27: A song that breaks your heart
I used most of my banger sad songs already so here's a classic heart-string-tugger.
Jason Isbell - "Elephant"

Brian Fallon - You Have Stolen My Heart

#30DaysOfSongs, day 11: A song you never get tired of.
I somehow keep finding myself listening to The Protomen's second album, Act II: The Father of Death over and over again, and Joe's triptych in particular. Of those three songs, Breaking Out is probably my favorite. youtu.be/tMrFiOjxk5s
#30DaysOfSongs, day 10: A song that makes you sad.
Looks like it's a G'n'R double header. youtu.be/8SbUC-UaAxE
