#30DaysOfDrawing Day 5
Its guest post. My daughter wants to show that Rosalina is prettier than Princess Peach. Can’t argue with that 😂

Day 4 - The Reaper from Death's Door
Simpler art but I find this style to be refreshing. Not much details unlike other soulslike game characters. My daughter wants me to draw Princess Peach 😅, she shows me her own version of Rosalina, its a battle now

Day 3 - Alexander, Warrior Jar from Elden Ring.
She likes this one. She asked whether he is good or bad.
"My child, this jar is an honorable warrior, of course he is the good guys".

Day 2 - The Hunter from Bloodborne.
She didn't like MY character of choice 🤣. Tomorrow I'll try the lighter side of Soulsborn characters...
#30DaysOfDrawing
My 7 y.o. daughter likes to draw comics.
I used to draw comics during my high school days, but every trace of it is gone. In order to refine her style, everyday I try to introduce her by tracing an art.
For Day 1, The Tarnished from Elden Ring
I am clearing out another social account (slowly) and a couple of things struck me that I miss. One of which is my "30 days of __" series. So here's drawing number 2. I think it will just be 30 days of drawings but we'll see how it goes with no set theme. #drawing #30daysofdrawing #artistsonbluesky
A drawing of a brogue/wingtip show in warm shades of brown coloured pencil.
I didn't complete Wendy MacNaughton's 30 Days of Drawing in January so I'm dipping back in to work on the assignments I missed. #30DaysOfDrawing #DrawEveryDay #Sketchbook #Artist
Day 30 of #30daysofdrawing
We were supposed to make an “artist nameplate” but I got wrapped up in the audio portion and went my in way. Here’s to Februlage and the next not quite 30 days
Almost done with my second annual Draw Together #30daysofdrawing. With everything going on, it’s been calming to create something with line and color. I probably won’t be #drawing daily, but hope to keep a regular practice.
Day 29 of #30daysofdrawing
What a fun, goofy exercise… make 3 sets of marks, name them then draw them.
Day 28 #30daysofdrawing
The fastest travel journal page ever made (10 minutes goes quick). Not a great drawing and yet a great first draft before I do this for real. Awesome 30-day commitment
Day 27 #30daysofdrawing draw from a photo… my least favorite creation. Should have stopped at the line drawing. Here’s to sharing even if it’s not so good
Day 26 #30daysofdrawing
Today’s assignment was drawing something that has been alive… so mushrooms that were about to do into dinner seemed like the perfect subject. Very quick with calligraphy pen.
Day 25 #30daysofdrawing
A day late getting to light and shadow (traveling and searching for awesome light). Morning coffee at Speckled Ax in Portland, ME
Day 24 #30daysofdrawing
Riding on a train to Portland Maine. Thankfully minimal smells on the train and the internet to research what was informing my memories related to coco. So fun
Day 23 of #30daysofdrawing
Draw the soundscape
This is of tonight’s sound bath
Joy and so many audio annoyances
Day 22 of #30daysofdrawing
Draw the feels
Caution tape, my dog, a wood slab table, my foam roller
Stressful (less so once I decided to take more than 10min) and fun!
Day 21 of #30daysofdrawing @drawtogether.bsky.social “feast for the eyes” - imagining how lovely the perfect cup of mint chip ice cream tastes… this is what I see. No reference, 10 minutes
Yes, I am doing it too. Filled half a sketchbook already!

Day 20 #30daysofdrawing
The prompt was to observe outside and create a color palette for 2025. Such a simple exercise that was welcomed today. Loving/my dog, shining/gorgeous late day sun, waiting/construction, watching/The Brutalist and protection/iron gate @drawtogether.bsky.social
30 days of drawing challenge
Day #2: "draw a plant" 🌱 🧸✨️

Decided to do a 30 day drawing challenge to help get back into/better at digital drawing (〃´ω`〃)
Day 1 is "draw an animal" so I doodled a pink cat girl 💖

A small sketchbook showing an upside down black line drawing of a portrait of a woman. A hand holds open the sketchbook and there's an orange fountain pen and a ceramic watercolour palette alongside.
I enjoyed this upside down challenge for Wendy MacNaughton's 30 Days of Drawing on Substack. We drew Betty Edwards, the author of Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. #sketchbook #Drawing #30DaysOfDrawing
3 black ink abstract thumbnail drawings on a small white sketchbook page with a blue and orange pen alongside.
A lefthand sketchbook page held open at the lower corner by 2 fingers. The page shows a black ink abstract drawing. An orange and a blue pen sit above the sketchbook.
I sat down to do this assignment for #30DaysOfDrawing with Wendy MacNaughton yesterday but my energy and mood led to me abandoning it until today. I'm glad I did come back to it and actually really like the bigger final version.
The left hand page of a sketchbook held open at the bottom left corner by hand. The page shows 6 small painted squares with abstract shapes painted on top in blue, yellow, red, green and pink.
Not quite caught up with Wendy MacNaughton's 30 Days of Drawing but I'm getting there. #30DaysOfDrawing #Sketchbook
The lefthand page of a small sketchbook held open at the bottom left corner by a finger and thumb. The page shows a grid drawn freehand in black ink with lines running vertically and horizontally.
I wonder if anyone else is joining in with Wendy MacNaughton's 30 Days of Drawing on her Substack? I was a little late starting so I'm doing 2 drawings on some days. This was the promot from day 4 which I did yesterday. #30DaysOfDrawing #DrawEveryDay #Sketchbook
My last car drawing? MY LAST CAR DRAWING (for now)
Playing with Caran d’Ache Neocolor II wax pastels and these are just like watercolor crayons. They’re amazing. Can’t believe it took me so long to experiment with them!
Day 6 of #30DaysOfDrawing

#30DaysofDrawing Day 3 - circles.
Drawn in the car, somewhere in eastern upstate NY. I love the colors of northeast winter - a full muted palette.
There’s something lovely about quick #art, get it done art, #doodle art - it doesn’t all have to be formal or a big production. Just make something.
