In the image, there are 6 Pokémon. A male level 26 Mankey. A female level 10 Butterfree. A male level 33 Pidgeotto. A male level 20 Raticate. A male level 32 Venusaur named "Spy". (A reference to the old, but popular first person shooter game which was released as a bundle with two other Valve games in The Orange Box, known as Team Fortress 2, with the name "Spy" being given to one of the nine playable characters.) And finally, a male Spearow at level 17. The reason this screenshot is so important is because it signals the end of a long, hard challenge, known as the Professor Oak Challenge. In these challenges, the player must capture every available Pokémon in each area and evolve them to their final evolution, before ever taking on the next gym. The player must also use one game, and no outside trading from a different game. In Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green, players are unable to Leave Pewter City and head East, as a boy blocks their path until they've beaten Brock, the first gym leader, which is located in Pewter City. As such, the best place to grind is back South, where you'll face level 3-5 Caterpie, Weedle, Metapod, Kakuna, and Pikachu. And unfortunately, a couple Pokémon are ABOVE level 30, making the grind a whole lot more tedious.
I'm almost done with the first area of the Pokemon Fire Red Professor Oak Challenge.
