My Latest Project

When I started this 365, I thought I'd share more ins & outs of the business. But truth is it's all about the show: pursuing the show, getting the show, doing the show, then waiting on a next show.
The in-between times can get complicated & depressing/1

Still haven't found the poem I wanted to share today, but my search reminds me how wonderful the SF theater company Word for Word is.
I did years of children's shows w/ WfW, but my 1st evening show was a staging of a variety of poems, including a handful of e.e. cummings/1

1st Day of School (Last Yr of Sch?)

It began w/ a show at TheatreWorks. A fellow actor asked if I taught & said this private school had an opening. I don't remember how it was phrased exactly, so what I answered was more 'Do I need a well-paying theater gig' & yes, I did!/1
