#3DPrintober2025 Day 30 (belated): Today's #3dPrint is Temper's familiar, Keeffe! A mostly-helpful Mari Lwyd, Keeffe is loyal and hard-working, but he takes way too many snack breaks.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 28: Today's #3dPrint is another #Starfinder campaign character. Wielding a holy staff in one hand and an injection glove in the other, this Lashunta Mystic had a name... but everyone just called him Space Pope due to his really nice hat.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 28: Today's #3dPrint is...
...?
...!?
...the Lagavulin from #SlayTheSpire! Somewhat posable, quite mysterious, and ready to end your run early.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 27: Today's #3dPrint is a weird little experiment: Can you turn a mobius strip into a functional spinning top?
Answer: Kinda!
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 26: Today's #3dPrint is another character mini. This character is from a campaign from 30 years ago, because there's nothing better than making art of the characters your friends created when they were teenagers.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 25: Today's #3dPrint is a tool I created for #TTRPG gaming.
As a DM, you don't always have the minis you need in the moment. This little frame holds a slip of paper, so you can add pre-printed or ad hoc character drawings to your battle map.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 24: Today's #3dPrint is my interpretation of the #retrogaming icon Sophia 3rd, the all-terrain battle tank from the classic #BlasterMaster series.
Features rolling wheels and adjustable cannon, turret, and struts... but Hover upgrade not included.
#3DPrintober
Today's #3dPrintober is still being assembled. With 41 individual pieces, it might take a while to finish! Can you identify the vehicle from the parts?
Hint: #retrogames
#3DPrintober2025 Day 23: Today's #3DPrint is something appropriate for spooky season: My favorite #cryptid, the Flatwoods monster!
Beware his glowing eyes and 7 points of articulation!
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 22: We can finally relax... Phanto got his proper key back.
#3DPrint #3DPrintober #smb2 #retrogaming
#3DPrintober2025 Day 21: A little musician pilgrim!
Today's #3DPrint is Sherma, from Silksong. This is the first piece that involved multiple complicated parts fitting together, and I learned a lot about how to model the pieces to fit together correctly.
#3DPrintober #FariDoLaSiManett
#3DPrintober2025 Day 20: A top shaped like a propeller.
When I started learning CAD, the initial projects were gears and propellers, to help practice iteration and accuracy. Turns out propellers make for great #3DPrint projects. When this top spins, the prop's airflow stabilizes it.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 19: Don't forget to check your garden for Pookas.
Really liking how this #retrogame #3DPrint game out, though since I first designed it, I've learned a lot about how to design the pieces to fit together better after printing.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 18: Another #Starfinder mini. When you can't find the right mini for the party's Urog Mechanic, you design and #3DPrint one!
He assures you his glow is caused by his natural bioluminescence, and not that he spends all day working on the ship's reactor.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 17: I designed a #3DPrint of a SMB2 Phanto to use as a keyholder. It was funny at first but now whenever I grab my keys and leave the house, I feel like I'm being followed all day.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 16: Another #3DPrint sword from Swordtember! Extremely tempted to paint the glowing cracks of lava on this one.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 15: Another #3DPrint for Starfinder, representing disposable clone mercenaries the party could buy out of a vending machine. The party's Mystic bought a 3-pack and immediately gave them endearing names, leading to the PCs keeping them alive for the entire campaign.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 14: My workspace is protected from Chaos by this little #3DPrint I sculpted of a #FinalFantasy Black Mage!
His eyes glow in the dark!
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 13: The upsized version of the cryptex #3DPrint! Scaling it consistently in two (or three) axes means all the parts will still interlock correctly!
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 12: Yesterday's #Starfinder drone eventually got upgraded into a battle-ready monster, complete with Tesla coil and a face "like the Death Star."
The original #3DPrint for this guy had the Tesla coil part detachable, so the mechanic could swap its weapons.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 11: A medical drone!
This #3DPrint is another mini from that same Starfinder game, a handy (if surly) little robot that helped keep the team alive. He had three different stands to indicate how high he was flying over the battlefield.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 10: A portable dice tower, for gaming on the go! This #3DPrint fits 2d20 or 3d6, and makes a satisfying rattle on each roll.
(Featuring Pinky, a d20 I've had for over 30 years, and a common source of conflict at the table as she's considered "extra lucky".)
#3DPrintober
Another #3DPrint for #3DPrintober!
#3DPrintober2025 Day 9: A spinning top based on a twirling skirt. I learned that tops have better performance if you made them in two parts, so the bottom half can be made solid and the top can be made with 15% infill, keeping the center of gravity low.
More #3DPrintober!
#3DPrintober2025 Day 8: Half giant rodent, half wizard, it's the Zapybara! This #3DPrint is one of the benevolent questgivers from my personal monster manual, and was such a frequent appearance in an old campaign, he warranted his own mini.
#3DPrintober2025 Day 7: I designed my own pocket-sized cryptex #3DPrint, perfect for keeping tiny notes. The design of the tumblers allows the 5-digit combination to be changed.
#3DPrintober
#3DPrintober2025 Day 6: Another custom sculpt for a Starfinder PC. This #3DPrint is a Shirren in power armor. I might reprint this one as the left pauldron didn't quite print correctly... or maybe I'll be lazy and call it battle damage.
Stay tuned for more #3DPrintober!
Next on #3DPrintober is this mini-kaiju! One of the first #3Dprints I ever sculpted.
#3DPrintober2025 Day 5: A tiny Godzilla to stomp around your desk while you work. Just like the real 'zilla, he glows in the dark, too!
#3DPrintober2025 Day 4: Today's #3DPrint is the bug with a golden gun, a sniper character from an old campaign. I have dozens of fantasy minis (as we all do) but very few sci-fi minis, so when I was running Starfinder, I had to sculpt custom minis for all the players.
More #3DPrintober soon!
More #3DPrintober!
#3DPrintober2025 Day 3: Today's #3DPrint is a sword I did for #swordtember a few years ago. The crystal in the hilt glows in the dark. I should probably add some lighting arcs around it too...
