Health needs in Sudan - Around 4 million people are acutely malnourished - Diseases such as malaria, dengue and measles are spreading - Close to 40% of health facilities are non-functional
WHO’s Response in Sudan - WHO helped contain two cholera outbreaks - 4.1 million patients treated in hospitals, primary health centres & mobile clinics - 46 million children and adults vaccinated against cholera, polio, diphtheria, measles and rubella - 118 000 severely malnourished children treated in stabilization centres - 3300+ metric tons of medical supplies and medicines delivered
